Before interiors, there was fashion and art. After graduating from the University of Texas, I began in the fashion department at Vogue in New York, then served as Art Director for Neiman Marcus's publication, The Book, in Dallas.
Those years trained my eye for composition, proportion and the small details that make something feel considered. Later, training under decorator J. Randall Powers taught me how those instincts translate into rooms people actually live in.
As a mother of three, I care deeply that a home works as hard as it looks — that it's durable, functional and welcoming, not just beautiful in photographs.
That blend of disciplines is the foundation of the studio: clean lines and tailored details, an innate sense of proportion, and an understated luxury built to last.
